Counter/Starter checks, i.e., checks without the customer's name and
address pre-printed on them, will NOT be accepted
Checks drawn on an account at a foreign bank account will NOT be accepted
The total value of a check(s) in excess of $50,000 will NOT be accepted
Third Party checks will NOT be accepted
Cashiers checks in excess of $20,000 will NOT be accepted
Checks from the joint bank account of a husband and wife will be accepted
for an individual account in the name of either the husband or
the wife
Farm Accounts ONLY: Checks in the name on an unincorporated farm
will be accepted for deposit in an individual or joint customer
account of the farm owner. This policy will be adhered to only if it
is clear that the individual(s) is the unincorporated farm owner and
the check amount is not in excess of $10,000. For example: the name
on the customer account is John and Jane Doe. The name on the
check is Doe Farms.
CPO exempt general partnerships of five partners or less; Individual
checks, one from each of the general partners, may be accepted for initial
deposit only. Any other deposits and all withdrawals must be made to
or from a bank account in the name of the partnership.
