Online Trading - Introducers

An affiliation with the CB&S division of MF Global Inc., gives you a choice of several electronic order entry platforms - RefcoConnect, RefcoExpress, RefcoLive, RefcoDirect (PATS), eSignal at Refco and ProTrader. Each platform has its own strengths. You can see more information on each system under Online Trading on the menu to the left.

There are a few aspects that you should be aware of from brokers' perspective. They include risk control, accessible markets and back office tools. RefcoConnect, RefcoXpress, RefcoLive, RefcoDirect, and ProTrader provide straight through processing - to a new state of the art back office that provides pre-trade margin check and online access to end of day reports such as customer statements. Esignal at Refco integrates RefcoXpress into eSignal charting and quotes platform, and thus has the same risk control as RefcoXpress itself. All six provide access to U.S. and selected international markets. ProTrader and RefcoDirect give you access to only electronic markets - not pit-traded markets. Brokers utilizing RefcoLive have access to a separate Customer and Account Service Tool called CAST.
