MFGlobalXpress

MFGlobalXpress is an internet-based trading platform designed to meet the needs of retail and professional investors. The platform is also used by Independent Brokers and order desks for order management and general brokerage services.

The software is easy to install, compact, and can be downloaded with a web browser. All that is required is an Internet connection and a computer running Windows 98 or higher. Overall system performance is correlated to CPU clock speed of the user’s computer, available memory (RAM), and the physical Internet connection speed.

MFGlobalXpress is an in-house product owned and supported solely MF Global. This allows MF Global to control the development cycle for new releases and adding new functionality. New features and enhancements are integrated on a regular basis. These enhancements reflect the evolving needs of the investment community.

API: White labeling with customizable front-end is available. All white labeled products are branded with MF Global images and logos so as to make clear the applications are provided by MF Global.

MTrade Pro

MTrade Pro is a java based front end trading platform that provides single click trading for the more experienced trader looking for streaming quotes. The server hardware is housed at both the MF Global Inc. data center and at the disaster recovery site in Matteson, Illinois.

Available Markets: Electronic: CME, eCBOT, Liffe, Eurex, EurexUS, EnxtFut, Nymex, ICE, SGX

Cost:

• Standard: $0.50 per side ($1.00 per round turn)
• Professional: $750 per month
• Standard API: $0.50 per contract
• Professional API: $1,000 per month plus $0.10 per contract

Quotes: Streaming electronic, no floor quotes available.

API: There are 2 versions:

• C++ proprietary structure
• FIX 4.2 based

Add-ons: There are various other trading platforms that MF Global offers that are sold separately (i.e. Strategy Runner, Trade Bolt, etc.). The majority of these platforms are considered and API to the MTrade Pro system.

TT / X_Trader

Trading Technologies developed X_Trader. This is a stand-alone application designed for the professional/high end trader of electronic markets. This is a single click platform with managed installs in Chicago and New York. X_Trader 6.x and 7.x are available.

Available Markets: Electronic markets available only. CME, eCBOT, Liffe, Eurex, EurexUS, EnxtFut, ICE, Montreal, Nymex

Cost: (all fees are monthly)

• 1 Exchange/Market: $625 + tax + IT fee
• 2 Exchanges/Markets: $875 + tax + IT fee
• 3+ Exchanges/Markets: $1,000 + tax + IT fee
• X_Trader Pro: $1,400 + tax (no restriction on markets) + IT fee

IT fee = $150

Quotes: Streaming electronic quotes.

API: Proprietary API is available for customers using X_Trader Pro. No additional charge for volume. FIX Adapter is also available either in fixed cost or transaction model.

CQG

This is a scaled down trading application only.

Available Markets:

• Open Outcry (Pit Trades): CME, CBOT, NYMEX, NYBOT, COMEX, KCBT, MINNEAPOLIS
• Electronic: CME, eCBOT, Eurex, EurexUS, Liffe, EnxtFut, NYMEX, SGX

Cost:

• Use Integrated Client: Client only pays for CQG for quotes
• Standard: $25 per month plus $2.50 per contract
• Professional: $350 per month

Quotes: Streaming electronic quotes on standard client - integrated package will provide floor quotes as well (must have own CQG agreement).

API: No API available with our connection
